2A
Fewer horror posts. Not immune. Still the smarter flex if the price jump doesn’t hurt.
not irctc · not a threat · just the group chat research
Third week of November. Post-Diwali. Chhath energy. Everyone and their cousin is going UP/Bihar. You can still take 11061. Just don’t act shocked if 3AC starts feeling like a local that learned how to print AC tickets.
Don’t cancel. Don’t romanticise it either.
People keep posting from this exact train: extra bodies in 3AC, sometimes 2AC, TTE on silent mode, RailwaySeva saying “share PNR.” Once in a while a TC actually walks in. That is the full customer-care arc.
Confirmed ticket = go. 2A if you can swing it. 3A in that week = AC with uninvited plus-ones. Pack snacks and the RailMadad app, not main-character expectations.
11061 leaves LTT ~11:30, takes ~38 hours, hits Prayagraj, then Varanasi, then keeps going toward Darbhanga / Jaynagar. On paper: 2A, 3A, sleeper, general. 1A is not the plot.
It’s the Mumbai–UP–Bihar daily. Office crowd, hometown crowd, mela crowd. November turns the volume up.
Diwali 2026 is early Nov. Third week is leftover festival traffic + Chhath + “yaar chalte hain ghar.” Prayagraj and Varanasi will not be chill. If someone climbs into 3AC “for pilgrimage” with no berth, they are not going to have a deep conversation with your footrest first.
Not news uncles. People sitting in the coach, filming, tagging Railways.
Yes, people post when they’re mad. Happy trips don’t trend. Same train, multiple years, original photos/videos. That’s not “one bad reel.”
Fewer horror posts. Not immune. Still the smarter flex if the price jump doesn’t hurt.
This is where “sir ye AC nahi raha” lives. Aisle, toilet corner, extra people. Mid-Nov 3A = assume company you didn’t book.
Risk in human words: decent chance extra people in AC, highest in 3A. The pattern is real. Your exact date might be normal. It might also be a video.
For when Vinit is still doing optimism.
